Vacuum Cleaner Entrepreneur Launches Home Party Business

David Oreck, the man who became a household name by developing his lightweight Oreck Vacuum Cleaners, has entered the home party business arena. His new “David Oreck Candle Company” offers a complete line of candles, wax fragrance meltables, warmers, and home decorating accessories. Oreck is looking for motivated women and men to join his company as “Scent Specialists” – to earn commissions selling his products through home parties, and to earn bonuses by sponsoring people into the company.

David Oreck is well known in households across America as the entrepreneur who manufactured and sold the lightweight Oreck Vacuum cleaner.

But what people may not realize is in recent years, Oreck has also invested in a candle and fragrance company.

The company manufactures all of its candles and wax fragrance meltables (the company’s term for wax fragrance cubes that can be melted in a crock-pot like device called a warmer) in its own factory in Greensboro, N.C.

Until recently, Oreck’s products were mostly sold through a few small retail stores.

If you’re like me and forget to frequently check the produce’s freshness, go with artificial. Once I decorated with fresh pears and left them in the container until they turned into an icky, gooey mess. Now I opt for fakes so lifelike they fool Dan (who now knows to check every apple, pear and grape he sees sitting out in a bowl before he takes a bite).
